Since its establishment in 1989, Kelley Drye’s Brussels office has assisted clients around the world in a wide variety of international legal matters, involving areas such as banking, telecommunications, mergers and acquisitions, technology and project finance. The office further advises the firm’s clients on all aspects of the European Union’s laws as they may impact upon the clients’ business operations.
In recent years, the office has developed a specialty in advising the firm’s international clients on their obligations under the European Union’s export control regimes and other emerging EU regulatory programs. The office cooperates in that regard closely with the firm’s other offices, and can therefore provide comprehensive representation and advice to clients from both U.S. and European perspectives.
